Welcome to my online & in person mentoring page.
I have been a photographer for a little over 14 years and I have 3 children. I am based in Mid Wales, UK.
Mentoring has played a huge part in building who I am as a photographer. I have made mistakes, and I have failed many a time - but that's the fun in learning and growing.
I have a passion not only for creating art, but in helping others learn and grow in areas that they feel they are struggling in - whether that be styling, post processing, or even starting out their journey as a photographer.
My passion and areas of speciality are newborns and children's fine art portraiture
During my in-person training, I will show you my full session flow - from styling, posing, lighting and edit an image in photoshop to show you my post processing.
1-2-1 in person Newborn training - £499 *
These sessions take place in my studio in Talgarth, Mid Wales UK
This is a full day training (9am to 4pm) covering any areas you feel you need to improve on
(Please note you will need to be competent in using your camera)
Training will include:
Pre session planning
Newborn safety
Settling techniques
Relaxing the parents
Studio lighting
Wrapping techniques
Styling and colour palettes
Table and Prop Flow Posing
Editing in Photoshop (this will be sent via video so you can re watch)
2 Newborn models will be attending, the first Newborn I will be posing to show you everything you need to know. The second baby you will be hands on, and posing entirely on your own (with my guidance and help if required)
*Please note training cannot be done for those who live within a 30-mile radius*
Group Workshops - from £349 (location within 2-4 hours)
Minimum of 8 attendees Max of 10 attendees
This is a full day training (9am to 5pm) covering any areas you feel you need to improve on

I will show you my whole workflow and how I transition from one pose to the next without disturbing the baby too much. I will show you how I move effortlessly to props in a wrap, and how I unwrap into props. I will also show you some simple parent poses. Q&A time will be before the second baby arrives during lunch.
Note pad and pen is essential.
During the 2nd baby I will slow the session down for you to ask any questions during the posing. You can also take photos of any of the poses during this time. You will learn all the tricks I have learnt along the way to help during the session.
